KNN Public Finance and Zions Bank Public Finance guided the Sierra Canyon High School Foundation through its first private placement of a $50 million 501 (c) (3) non-profit bond issue.
   
Strategic Implementation:

The firm's financial advisors assisted the Foundation in the acquisition of a for-profit Pre-K through Grade 8 school, the refinancing of the land acquisition, and the construction thereon of a new high school. The campus includes classrooms, offices and fields.
   
Results:

KNN and Zions Bank Public Finance received credit enhancement proposals from line of credit banks on behalf of the Foundation for the $50 million non-profit bond. However, the City of Los Angeles, as a private placement investor, offered more attractive covenants and terms and was awarded the bond.
