KNN operates exclusively as a municipal advisor, providing public agency clients with independent, objective analysis and advice to support them in making responsible decisions about their debt and capital programs. In 2018, KNN was ranked 3rd in California and 9th nationally by par amount of bonds issued, according to Refinitiv. A few of the firm’s major clients include the State of California, the California State University System, the San Diego Unified School District, the Counties of Alameda, Los Angeles, Orange, San Francisco and Santa Clara, and the Cities of Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Fresno, among many others. We currently have a staff of 16 advisors and 4 administrative staff in our Oakland, Newport Beach and Los Angeles offices. We are registered as a Municipal Advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board.
The associate will be responsible for providing quantitative and bond transaction support for the firm’s municipal clients across California. Responsibilities include the monitoring of current economic events and information, application of in house technology for market information to update financial models and projections, development of bond structuring alternatives and credit rating materials.
